All parents and guardians are invited to join us in Duffin Theater as we kick off Screen-Free Week on May 4th at 5:30 pm. Our speaker, Dr. Jill Walsh, will present on "Practical Strategies to Help Our Children Navigate Digital Technology." This presentation is ideally aimed at elementary and early middle school parents.
Screen-Free Week is an annual global event encouraging children, families, and schools to turn off entertainment screens (TVs, phones, and gaming consoles) and "turn on life." Screen-Free Week seeks to reduce digital reliance, encouraging reading, outdoor play, and in-person connection to spark creativity and improve well-being
