Technology & the Future of Work

The Berkshire Innovation Center is partnering with Edgi Learning to offer an interdisciplinary course this fall called Technology & the Future of Work. Students will grapple with big questions related to accelerating change and how our society will adapt to the future of work. Whether their interest is in technology, politics, business, economics or social activism, they will come out of the course with valuable new perspectives, a recognition of how they can shape their own education, and an enhanced personal resume. This course, which will be entirely remote, is open to all Berkshire County public high school students and is intended to appeal to all (not just those interested in a career in technology or advanced manufacturing). The class will start the week of September 28th and run for eight weeks. Spaces are limited and will be granted on a first come first-serve basis. The Berkshire Innovation Center is very excited to offer this course in conjunction with Josh and his team at Edgi Learning. This program is supported with funding provided by Adams Community Bank, Pittsfield Cooperative Bank, Lee Bank, and Mountain One. Thanks to the support of these community partners, the registration fee is $25. Financial concerns should not be a barrier to enrollment. Fee waivers will be available to those in need. Registration will close September 21st. You can register for the course at https://edgilearning.com/register
