MINI SCULPTURES ON DISPLAY AT THE LENOX POST OFFICE
The seventh grade art students worked on creating centerpieces for the annual Lenox Community Center Seniors holiday luncheon during the first two weeks in December. This service-learning project inspired the artists to use a variety of materials for their mini sculptures that helped to brighten the tables. From log cabins to snow globes, each piece was a unique creation. Mr. Cade also brought Joe Bouvier, Bom Bee Lahart and Sophia Cahillane for some great music to lighten the mood! When in the center of Lenox during the winter vacation, be sure to stop by the post office to see some of the artwork!
The High School Student Council helped to deliver the centerpieces and stayed to serve the seniors lunch. Any sculpture that is not on display was donated to the elderly for them to enjoy in their homes!
