The Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)
The Lenox SEPAC is a district-wide, state-mandated volunteer organization supporting Lenox students with disabilities and special needs. All parents and guardians of Lenox students who receive special education services are encouraged to become involved in SEPAC so together we can continue to improve service and access for all. Participation is also open to other interested parties such as teachers, service providers, and community allies. The year begins with the annual presentation by the Federation for Children with Special Needs on Parents’ Rights in Special Education (see details below). Meetings are held three times a year, on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 – 7:30 pm in the library at LMMHS. A Parent Support Group meeting (not a part of the official SEPAC meeting) is offered at 5:30 pm prior to the monthly meeting. Meeting dates for the 2018-2019 year are as follows:
|Tuesday, October 29 at LMMHS –Parents Rights Workshop 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LMMHS Library.||Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Morris|
