LMMS PTO - Fundraising

This fall, the LMMS PTO sponsored a successful fundraising drive in partnership with Berkshire Grown, a community based organization supporting local food and farms since 1985. 

The Berkshire Grown "Goods & Gifts" initiative brings together local producers of high quality goods and services with local schools and organizations that need to raise money.  This new fundraising program teaches the importance of buying local, of making the connection with local business people, and of sharing the responsibility of supporting our own community.  This year's offerings included selections from Barrington Coffee Roasting Company, Berkshire Mountain Bakery, and Gould Farm.  We had a strong response from the Middle School community, and raised over $2,000 to support future PTO activities and events.
