Lenox’s Ella King was queen of the mountain at Bousquet Ski Area. She won giant slalom races on Monday and Wednesday to help the Millionaires continue their dominance of the Berkshire County High School Alpine League.
King also said that the Lenox girls, who have won all five races this winter, have been clicking on the slopes.
“As I’m the only the senior, I’d say it’s definitely a lot of young talent, a lot of young energy,” King said. “That kind of keeps it fresh. Everyone is excited about the years to come. For me, that’s been great because I have been doing it for so many years, it’s like a fresh vibe to the team.
“And I think everyone works really hard and enjoys practice, loves being out there. I don’t hear any complaints. That’s the No. 1 thing. I think everyone genuinely likes the sport and is happy to be doing it.”
