FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS

 

The Festival of Trees is going ON SAFARI and we have some trees on display! The following middle school students have worked together to create four trees: Rebecca Lagonia , Lucy Cooper, Marley Gamberoni, Sophia Tisdale, Maddie Barenski, Matthew Shields, Mateo Phillips, Ted Yee, Jonah Kruszyna and Maxime Léger . The Festival of Trees will be open from November 14th thru January 4th!

 

Girls’ Basketball – There will be a meeting for all girls who are trying out for basketball on Monday, November 24th at 2:45 in room 8. 

 

Softball – Anyone young lady interested in playing softball this spring should sign up in the athletic office with Mrs. Schultz before November 25th.

 

Volunteers needed – LMMHS will once again be sponsoring a family for the holidays. We are looking for volunteers to help with collecting and wrapping the items. If you are interested in being part of this wonderful community service project please see Mrs. Schultz in the Athletic Office to sign up.   

 

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

 

Auditions for this year’s musical “Cabaret” – will be held on Thursday, December 4th from

2:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the band room and on Friday, December 5th there will be two sessions 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. both in the Duffin Theater.  Singing and non-singing roles available!

 

Cine Club – The next Cine Club will be December 2nd at 6 p.m. in room 37.  All are welcome.  Sign up with Mme Dupuis (for pizza).

 

S.A.T. – The December 6th exam is coming up soon – don’t forget to register on line if you haven’t done so already.

 

Senior Scholarships – Applications for the Big Y, LEA (Education), and Henry David Thoreau (Environmental Science) is in guidance.

 

U.S. Naval Academy will have a representative in guidance on Tuesday, November 25th at 10:30 a.m.  any interested senior, please leave your name with Mrs. Omelenchuck.

ASAP – Thursdays 2:30 – 3:15 p.m. - Ms. Grimes’ Office.  Open to all MS students

Evergreen Club meets Mondays in the library at 2:30 p.m. Open to all students.

French Cine-Club meetings – dates and times will be announced.

HS Chorus - Every Thursday 7:00 a.m.  Music Room.

MS Art Club – Wednesdays in room 16 from 2:30 – 3:15

MS Chess Club – Mondays in room 10 from 2:30 – 3:15

MS Chorus – Wednesdays from 7:00 – 7:30

MS French Club – Thursdays in room 37 after school.

National Art Honor Society – every other Friday at 7:25 a.m. in room 15. HS

Science Club – Middle School – Thursdays 2:35 – 3:15 in room 4.

Spanish Club – grades 7 – 9. Every Monday at 2:30 in room 38.
