The Berkshire Patient Portal, if you have one, has launched a new option that will allow users to easily schedule a Stop-the-Spread COVID-19 test. The Stop-the-Spread testing program was established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a way to provide -free surveillance testing for individuals who are asymptomatic and want to be tested for COVID-19. You must be a Massachusetts resident to qualify for the Stop-the-Spread test.
It’s easy. All you need to do is login to your portal account click on “Appointments,” and then click “Schedule an Appointment “
Berkshire Health Systems has three Stop-the-Spread Testing Centers in Berkshire County, located in:
– Pittsfield 505 East St., St Luke’s Square, adjacent to BHS Urgent Care Open seven days a week from 8:30 am to 4 pm
– North Adams 98 Church St., next to the North Adams Library Open seven days a week from 8:30 am to 4 pm
– Great Barrington 475 Main St., next to the Great Barrington Police Department Open seven days a week from 8 am to 12 pm
Please remember that Stop-the-Spread testing is only for patients who are asymptomatic. If you are symptomatic and would like to be tested, please call our toll-free hotline, 855-262-5465 (855-BMC-LINK). The hotline is open daily from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
